NL Architects have designed the Taipei Performing Arts Center like a giant cube of Swiss cheese set over a public square, with the missing sections there to provide light and visual interest for the overall impact that the design is meant to have.
Inside the Taipei Performing Arts Center, you’ll find your typical cultural center of library, stores, stages, lobbies, bars, and restaurants. Balconies galore feature swimming pools, a skate area, playground, hotel garden, and cafe.

Do not know why but it seems a bit too futuristic idea
Very cool design. looks like something that would be built in Dubai. I agree with auto ^ it does look kind of futuristic.
I don't think that it's a futuristic idea, because general public interest towards Arts is dying gradually so it's important to have some other leisures to be in place to attract people to these centers so they can connect themselves with Arts and also enjoy their visit.
Innovative ideas always welcomed.
To access up to the informative site without any instructions is hard nut to crack.

This is a good idea to develop the ability to design and build projects with the unique architecture of the community. Because the public interest for the arts to attract people to these centers so they can connect with the arts and also enjoy their visit. But it must be consistent with reality and the economic development of your country. Creativity and support are always welcome.
